Split Pine Farm South is a lovely 10 acre farm with many amenities located in the rural equestrian community of Caloosa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; we are 4 miles north of PGA Blvd. off the Beeline Highway and easy access to I-95, the Florida Turnpike, and a general aviation airport. Our community offers a fantastic park area, hunt course jumps, multiple riding arenas, basketball and tennis courts, tot lot, picnic area and 30 miles of bridle trails in and around the neighborhood. We are a short drive from Wellington for all your winter equestrian activities yet quiet enough for a peaceful get away; and don’t forget the beach - it is never far away.
Owned by Anita Crouse, Split Pine Farm South offers boarding, dressage lessons and specializes in horse sales (both domestic and imported).
Anita Crouse is an amateur rider specializing in Hunter/Jumpers and an avid Fox Hunter who previously hunted with Cheshire Hounds in Pennsylvania; and now hunts with the Palm Beach Hounds while in Florida and Green Creek Hounds and the Tryon Hounds when in WNC.
Her knowledge of horses comes from her work with renowned Olympic rider Nona Garson of The Ridge Farm, Helen Varble owner and trainer of Wellington Show Stables, Louis Wood, natural horseman and owner of Mountain View Ranch of VA., and her competition in regional shows, including the "A" rated Wellington circuit.
Anita resides part-time in Western NC at Split Pine Farm North, with daughter Sara. Anita and Sara are active members of both Green Creek Hounds and Tryon Hounds of NC . While in NC Anita utilizes Chris Burleson, a proponent of natural horsemanship with several years of experience; who prepares/trains foxhunters, performance, and novice horses for sale.
She has traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe, participating in equine seminars, attending horse shows/auctions/hunting events, always keeping a watchful eye on horses both domestic and imported. Anita has also ventured into the breeding arena producing offspring of high quality warmbloods with imports from Germany.
